Scan a public page you operate

Add your website as a service, open Scanner and submit a public URL. Polimeo runs the scan in an isolated browser and saves the result so you can review it from the dashboard.

Start with your homepage, then test other relevant pages. A product page, embedded video and checkout may load different providers. Only scan websites you own or are authorised to test.

Review the result before accepting it

Inspect cookie names, domains, observed values and suggested categories. Confirm purposes against the scripts you have installed and the providers' documentation. Save the relevant entries to your service's inventory.

That inventory can feed a cookie policy draft. It also gives you a concrete checklist when configuring which tools should wait for consent.

Understand the boundaries of a scan

A scan is a snapshot of one browser visit, not a complete audit. A cookie may only appear after a click, a login, consent or a location-specific response. A tracker can also use technologies other than cookies.

The scanner accepts public web targets. Localhost, private network addresses and internal admin systems are blocked. To inspect a private application, use your browser's developer tools and maintain the inventory manually.
